In LONE - Lonely ends and alone begins - Luuk investigates what it is like to jump on a bascule alone, it seems impossible but with his surprising approach he succeeds. In this busy society, where we are constantly connected to others, we have become afraid to be alone. Luuk shows us that being alone is not the same as being lonely, but that it brings joy, beauty and peace. This makes for an impressive performance about the intimate dialogue between man and basque.
At the circus colleges Codarts in Rotterdam and DOCH in Stockholm Luuk studied the discipline bascule. Besides the projects with the circus collective 4onBoard, Luuk leaves a handsome first solo impression in the circus world with LONE.
